Not a slogan. Below is every protection built into File-A-Cloud, what it does, and where its limits are. Read it before you trust us with a single file.
Anything marked Private is turned into unreadable code on your phone or computer before it ever leaves it. The key is made from your PIN and recovery code, and neither of those ever reaches us. Without them, nobody — including our team — can open the file.
Only you hold the key
We store a locked box, not a key. If you lose both your PIN and your recovery code, we genuinely cannot get your private files back. That is the trade-off of real privacy, and we would rather be honest about it.
Private is the starting point, not an option you hunt for
New accounts begin at the strictest setting: uploads are private, links expire in a day, the bin empties itself, and no outside app can reach anything.
No outside app gets in without you saying yes
Any app asking for access lands in your Requests inbox and gets nothing until you approve it. One tap removes it again, along with every permission it was given.
One button cuts everything off
Lockdown instantly cancels every share link, removes every connected app, denies pending requests and locks your private files.
Links end by themselves
Every link you make gets an end date and, if you want, a limit of one single opening. You can add a password too.
We do not look at your files
There is no advertising business here, no content scanning, no training on your documents or photos. Private files are mathematically unreadable to us; standard files are simply left alone.
Hidden photo details are removed
Camera model, date and GPS location are stripped out of pictures before they are stored, so a shared holiday photo doesn't reveal your home address.
You control every device
See every phone, tablet and computer signed in, and sign the others out in one tap.
Deleting really deletes
Shredding overwrites a file before removing it, and the bin clears itself on the schedule you choose.
It still works with no signal
Files you keep offline stay on your device, encrypted. Changes you make queue up and sync the moment you reconnect.
Leaving is a single action
Erase everything wipes every file, link, log and record permanently. No cooling-off retention, no shadow copies.
What we ask you to do
Keep your recovery code somewhere physical. Print the recovery kit and put it with your passport.
Use Private protection for anything you would not want read aloud.
Add a password to links that carry sensitive documents.
Being straight with you
No system on earth can promise absolute safety. What we can promise is this: your private files are unreadable without your PIN or recovery code, we never look at your content, no third party is ever given access unless you personally approve it, and you can cut off everything with one click. If a device you own is stolen while unlocked, or you share your PIN, no software can undo that — which is why the lockdown, wipe and device controls exist.
